1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, gas mark 6, 400°F.
2. Grease and flour a deep baking tray.
3. Cream the margarine and the Fruisana Fruit Sugar.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
5. Sieve the dry ingredients together and add to the mixture. Stir in the lemon juice.
6. Knead the dough lightly and flatten onto the greased baking sheet. Sprinkle the frozen berries and the crushed almonds evenly over the top.
7. Bake for 15-17 minutes. Cool slightly then cut into squares. |
Make: 35 150g 6oz Margarine 125g 5oz Fruisana Fruit Sugar 2 Eggs 150g 6oz Plain flour 30mls 2tbsp Bran 5ml 1tsp Baking powder 30mls 2tbsp Lemon juice
To decorate:
100g 4oz Blackcurrants, frozen 38mls 2 1/2tbsp Crushed almonds |
